Résumé

This is the first part of papers dealing with simple methods of heat transfer calculations in liquid-liquid plate heat exchangers, plate evaporators, plate condensers and gas-gas cross-flow plate heat exchangers. Calculation examples are included. The paper deals with the design of plate heat exchangers and calculations for liquid-liquid heat transfer. Dismountable, non-dismountable and partially dismountable plate heat exchangers are described and characterized. The procedure of heat transfer area determination for demanded heating capacity is given and verified in the case of counter-flow water-water heat exchangers.
