The 4^th International Workshop on Cooling System for HTS Applications (IWC-HTS 2024), sponsored by the Cryogenics and Superconductivity Society of Japan (CSSJ), aims to effectively exchange the latest research results with a focus on cooling technologies for high temperature superconducting application systems.

Scheduled to take place on October 23-25, 2024, in Matsue (Japan), the workshop will consist of the following topics:

1. Fundamental aspects of heat load in HTS applications and cryogenics
2. HTS applications in view of heat load
3. Cryogenic structure and heat transfer
4. Cryogenic cooling systems for HTS applications
5. HTS systems and Liquid hydrogen
