Summary
Up to 40% of refrigerant in car air-conditioning is lost every year, not just through leaks, but also through accidents, repairs, and servicing. This is the big difference between mobile and stationary plants. The results showed that TEWI is not a reliable basis for comparing car air-conditioners.
