Prof. Sergey Kuznetsov (Russia)

Mathematical models for the Earth seismicity, seismic waves, and seismic protection

Professor at the Institute for Problems in Mechanics of Russian Academy of Sciences. Main interests lay in solid acoustics, geophysics, fracture, and soil mechanics and mechanics of anisotropic media. The works comprise both theoretical and numerical studies, including FEA and BIE (boundary integral equations). Has more than 300 scientific works on various subjects of mechanics.



Dr. Jiangmiao YU (China)

Development and Practical Application of High Toughness Ultra-thin Friction Course Technology in China

Dr. Jiangmiao Yu is an associate professor in School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, South China University of Technology (SCUT), and he also is the Chair of Roadway Engineering Department. Dr. Yu received his PhD (SCUT) in Pavement Engineering in 2005. Starting from 2006.03 he is a faculty of SCUT, during 2010.04-2011.10, he was a visiting scholar of University of California at Berkeley, Pavement Research Center (UCPRC). His main research interests focus on pavement structure, pavement materials, pavement maintenance and management.

Dr. Yu is the principal/co-principal investigator of more than 80 research projects, the first author/corresponding-author of about 40 journal papers and conference contributions, reviewer of more than 10 international journals as Construction and Building Materials, International Journal of Pavement Engineering, etc. He also is one of the main drafters of China new “Specification for Design of Highway Asphalt Pavement” (JTG D50-2017).



Prof. Alexey Bulgakov (Germany)

Synthesis of the AC and DC Drives Fault Diagnosis Method for the Cyber-physical Systems of Building Robots

Professor Bulgakov is a Visiting Professor at Technical University Munich (TUM) on the chair of Building Realization and Robotics. Main interests lay in construction automation, robotics, mechatronics and information system, lean construction. He has more than 340 scientific publications, including 36 monographs, and holds over 47 patents. Prof. Bulgakov is an adviser to the Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering of the RF, member of board of directors of the International Association of Automation and Robotics in Construction and of editorial board of the Journal “Construction Robotics” (Springer). He is the recipient of several honors and awards including the Award of Germans Environment Fund, RF Government Award of science and engineering, TUM Ambassador



Dr. Anatolijs Borodinecs (Latvia)

3D scanning data use for modular building renovation based on BIM model

Dr. sc. Ing. Anatolijs Borodinecs holds professor status in Institute of Heat, Gas and Water Technology of Riga Technical University. Main research areas are building energy efficiency and building physics.
The major elaborated project - creation and implementation of buildings’ energy evaluation and monitoring scheme for district with 140 multi-storey apartment buildings. Recently participated in INTERREG, FP7 and HORIZON2020 projects working on energy efficient measure application at single scale as well as working on holistic cross disciplinary approach development. For the last six years has published series of SCOPUS databases publications on indoor air quality and buildings energy efficiency. Anatolijs has experience at Indoor Environment Center, Department of Architectural Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University under Fulbright scholarship. Since 2013 makes articles review for journal such as “Energy and Buildings” “Built Environment” and several conferences and other journals. Since 2015 holds REHVA FELLOW status. Member of the board of Latvian Association of Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Engineers and member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. Certified HVAC and natural gas engineer. Head of Department of Heat Engineering and Technology



Dr. Pierre El Haddad (Lebanon)

The business case for the socio-economic approach to management

Dedicated for academic work since 2015, Dr. Pierre El HADDAD is collaborating with international colleagues to research Strategies for Networked Organizations, Corporate Sustainability Strategies, and Organizational Development. With a journal publication and a dozen conference proceedings, he is pursuing several paper and conference publications. His record comprises founding an active Lebanese NGO promoting corporate sustainability and inclusivity, and his experience includes consulting, university teaching, presenting a live radio show, and fifteen years developing export strategies for a private business. Lately an affiliate faculty at George Mason University, United Stated, and a Humphrey Fellow at the Maxwell School, Syracuse University, NY, his education includes a DBA from Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, where he is still pursuing research towards a PhD. His education also includes an MBA in economics and finance, from Notre Dame University, Lebanon, and civil engineering from Université Saint-Joseph, Lebanon.
