Summary
This work was edited and published by Qualité Infos and the Standing Assembly of the French Chambers of Agriculture as a working tool that explains both the goals of quality-assurance policies and the complementarities between official guarantees. It also reviews all commercial operators who are participating in this effort toward quality improvement and proof of origin. Contents: quality-assurance policies; produce (poultry and eggs, pork and salt meats and fish, meats, dairy produce, seafood and fresh-water produce, prepared dishes, fruit and vegetables, cereals, dry goods, beverages, biological agriculture); ranking by region; certifying organisations, quality-assurance cooperatives, defence associations, management cooperatives; promotion committees; useful addresses.
