THE AUTHORS ADDRESS THE DECISION PROCESS REQUIRED IN APPLYING HEAT PUMPS TO INSTITUTIONAL BUILDINGS, FOOD PROCESSING PLANTS, TEXTILE PLANTS, CHEMICAL PLANTS, AND PULP AND PAPER P THEY EXPLAIN HOW PROCESS RECOVERY HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS CAN BE INTEGRATED INTO THE OVERALL THERMAL PLANT OF A FACILITY TO OBTAIN MAXIMUM THERMAL AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY, LOW-COST ENERGY RATES, AND IMPROVED PROCESS PRODUCTION AND QUALITY. POTENTIAL PROBLEMS WILL ALSO BE ADDRESSED WITH PROVEN TECHNIQUES DEVELOPED FOR AVOIDING THEM.
