Type of periodic review: Other
Summary
The IIR’s work is intrinsically linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as refrigeration is present in most areas of human activity, past, present, and future, and is absolutely necessary for life. In fact, it now accounts for almost 20% of the world’s electricity, and this figure is constantly rising.
