Summary
DESCRIBES AN EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE ENERGY SAVING EFFECT AND DEHUMIDIFICATION ENHANCEMENT OF THE VARIABLE SPEED AIR CONDITIONER (VSAC). STATES THE RESULTS INDICATE THAT IN SUBTROPICAL AREAS THE VSAC COULD PROVIDE ANNUAL ENERGY SAVINGS OF 20%. MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE 10.5 KILOWATT-UNIT SUCCESSFULLY LOWERED ITS APPARATUS SENSIBLE HEAT RATIO FROM 0.80 TO 0.60, WHICH MAKES IT EXCELLENT FOR APPLICATIONS IN HOT AND HUMID AREAS.
