Résumé

To realize a carbon-neutral society, it is essential to focus on technological advancements in both energy supply and demand sectors. From the perspective of energy demand, there are various approaches for achieving a carbon-neutral society, such as, promoting energy-saving technology and levelling the load curve to maximize the use of effective supply resources. Thus, innovation contributes to a carbon-neutral society. Particularly, in commercial buildings, it is important to promote the use of electric air conditioners throughout the year to replace fossil fuel energy sources. The installation of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems plays an important role in achieving a carbon-neutral society. Single indoor unit systems are almost similar to the optimum control method; however, some multi-indoor unit VRF systems operate under lower COP (Coefficient Of Performance) conditions. The goal of this study is identify the factors contributing to lower COP conditions and identify areas for improvement through simulation analysis. Furthermore, we propose a new control method for the multi-indoor units of VRF systems that simultaneously achieves both energy saving and increased stability.
