Summary
DESCRIBES AN INTEGRATED HEATING SYSTEM BASED ON THE DIESEL-ELECTRIC DRIVE OF AN OUTDOOR AIR HEAT PUMP. THE SYSTEM COMBINED COGENERATION WITH ENERGY SAVING, A HITHERTO < IMPOSSIBLE > TASK. THE SYSTEM OPERATES INTERNALLY AS AN ENERGY SYSTEM AND EXTERNALLY AS A POWER SYSTEM. ELECTRICITY IS SUPPLIED TO THE NETWORK WHEN DEMAND IS VERY HIGH AND A GOOD PRICE CAN BE OBTAINED FOR IT. DURING THE REST OF THE TIME, THE ELECTRICITY IS USED EFFICIENTLY FOR HEAT PRODUCTION AND ENERGY SAVING. (INT. BUILD. SERV. ABSTR., GB., 25, N 2, 1990/03-04, 90-00385.
